Virtua Receives Quality Improvement Awards from N.J. Hospital Association

The New Jersey Hospital Association recently presented its 2018 Excellence in Quality Improvement awards to Virtua. The association lauded Virtua’s “tremendous advances in quality improvement and patient safety.”

The New Jersey Hospital Association recently presented its 2018 Excellence in Quality Improvement awards to Virtua. The association lauded Virtua’s “tremendous advances in quality improvement and patient safety.”

“Virtua is honored to be acknowledged by NJHA for the work by our clinicians to increase the safety of our patients and community,” said John Matsinger, DO, Virtua Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer.  “Keeping our patients safe is Virtua’s number-one priority.”


Virtua hospitals are in Marlton, Mount Holly and Voorhees, N.J. Virtua Home Care serves residents of Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties.

NJHA partners with Virtua and other N.J. healthcare organizations to enhance quality, patient safety and satisfaction.

“New Jersey has seen incredible results in improving outcomes, reducing adverse events and making healthcare more cost-effective,” stated NJHA.
