A new 10,640 square foot Dollar General is proposed for 901 East Clements Bridge Road in Runnemede The application of East Clements Bridge Road, LLC is scheduled to be heard virtually by the Runnemede Planning and Zoning Board on Wednesday, May 13.
Preliminary and final major site plan and use variance approvals are sought to construct a new store.
There is an existing Dollar General at 835 East Clements Bridge Road, which is next door to the proposed, new location. The store will relocate to the new, larger store and will also sell produce items, planning board documents indicate.
The applicant, East Clements Bridge Road, LLC, is the contract purchaser of a portion of real property located at 901 E. Clements Bridge Road, designated as Block 135, Lots 42 and 43.03 on the municipal tax map.
Lot 42 is approximately 11.092 acres and is currently improved and includes Mr. Softee and several commercial businesses.
Lot 43.03 contains approximately 16.467 acres and is currently vacant.
The applicant seeks minor subdivision approval for a lot line adjustment between lot 42 and lot 43.03 and the creation of proposed lot 42.01.
Proposed lot 42.01 will be approximately 1.442 acres and is the proposed lot for the construction of the store.
Proposed lot 42 will be approximately 9.650 acres and proposed lot 43.03 will be 16.467 acres.
The public hearing on this application will be conducted virtually via video conferencing by way of a GoToMeeting video conference rather than an “in-person” meeting on May 13, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
