Margate, NJ (September 10, 2020) – The 7th Annual JFS & JCC Golf Tournament hits the fairway at Harbor Pines Golf Club on Thursday, October 1. A must-attend community event, Jewish Family Service and the Milton and Betty Katz Jewish Community Center join forces to raise funds for agency programs and services. This tournament will bring the community together for a fun day of golf, contests, prizes, food, online auction and more.
JFS Committee Chair Todd Arsenault and JCC Committee Chair David Schultz are excited for the tournament at Harbor Pines, a premier course nestled in the woods of Egg Harbor Township. The 18-hole tournament will also include on-course contests – Longest Drive, Inside the Circle and Putting – as well as hit the solar panel, courtesy of Geoscape Solar. Whether you’re a proficient golfer or first-time player, there’s something for everyone.
Registration begins at 12pm. Shotgun start at 1pm. Tickets are $225 per golfer and includes greens fees, golf cart, and food stations. In 2019, the tournament raised $55,000 to support both agencies. This year, the committee hopes to raise dollars to benefit JFS and the Katz JCC to further their mission to provide children, seniors and the Atlantic County community with programs and services that enhance and enrich their lives.
To assure the health and safety of our players, staff and volunteers, masks must be worn when social distancing is not feasible and sanitization and cleanliness will be of the upmost priority with hand sanitizers and masks available. For those unable to participate, we will offer an online auction with prizes including instant bar, restaurant gift cards, hotel stays and more. Follow JFS and JCC on social media for the latest auction updates and bidding details.
To register to play in the tournament or support through a sponsorship opportunity, contact Kirby Reed at 609-822-1108, x144 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
