People for Animals (“PFA”), New Jersey’s leading spay/neuter provider, announces the opening of its newest clinic in Millville. Having operated the Gloucester County Spay/Neuter clinic in Clayton for the last five years, the organization chose Millville for their permanent new location in order to expand accessibility to Cumberland, Atlantic, and Salem counties, where the need for affordable veterinary services is pronounced.
“Our goal at PFA is to enable animals to remain in the community with their caregivers and keep them out of the shelter system. Access to affordable veterinary resources allow pet owners to keep their pets healthy, happy, and at home,” Jane Guillaume, Executive Director of PFA, stated. “We are thrilled to have a permanent new location in Millville to help even more Southern Jersey residents with their pets’ needs.”
Due to the effects of the pandemic, PFA has experienced a significant increase in demand for appointments. “We know firsthand from our clients what a financial impact Covid-19 has taken on our community”, remarked Becky Burton, Millville Clinic Manager. “If not for PFA, many animals would not receive the necessary care they need,” she added.
PFA will have its official ribbon cutting Grand Opening celebration on October 10 from 1pm – 3pm and invites the public to stop by, see our new facility and meet our staff.
The event will showcase a number of additional local non-profit Animal Welfare Groups, which also provide pet-related resources in the area.
