Rothkoff Law Group Welcomes Carrie Scattergood to Firm

CHERRY HILL, NJ: The Rothkoff Law Group is pleased to welcome new associate attorney Carrie L. Scattergood, Esq. as a member of the firm.

Her broad knowledge of estate planning, estate administration, guardianships, and mediation will bring additional resources to the practice, and allow the firm to better serve clients located in central and northern New Jersey.

Rothkoff, Esq. “With over a decade of experience in various aspects of elder law, we are confident that she will be an effective addition to our team. She has a talent for communicating and connecting with clients, and the ability to guide families through the estate planning process in a truly supportive way with minimal emotional stress.

Carrie is a graduate of Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Widener University Delaware Law School.

Prior to joining Rothkoff, Carrie began her career as a law clerk for the Honorable Middlesex County Judge James F. Mulvihill.

Following her clerkship, she opened her own private practice where she incorporated a holistic approach to elder law.

Carrie is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Mercer County Bar Association, and the New Jersey Association for Professional Mediators.

She is licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York, and is currently pursuing her license in Pennsylvania.

She will be based at the firm’s Trevose, Pennsylvania office located at Seven Neshaminy Interplex, Suite 403, Trevose, PA 19053.

“I believe the legal profession is a wonderful vehicle for compassion, empathy, and relationship building,” Scattergood said. “I have learned so much about how to practice the law by serving my neighbors in the local community. Carrie resides in Mercer County with her two daughters, Stella and Violet.

In her spare time, she volunteers with the National Lawyers Guild and is a mentor to aspiring law students.

She also enjoys hiking, yoga, and spending time at the Jersey Shore.
