Seneca Jazz Band Hits a High Note at the Rowan Jazz Festival

The Rowan Jazz Fest is a 3-day festival where schools from NJ, PA, and DE perform and receive clinics from the faculty of Rowan University’s Music Department.

The Seneca High School Jazz Band attended the Rowan Jazz Festivalon Thursday, February 10.

The Rowan Jazz Fest is a 3-day festival where schools from NJ, PA, and DE perform and receive clinics from the faculty of Rowan University’s Music Department.

The Rowan Jazz Department is run by world-renowned saxophonist Dennis DiBlasio, who organizes this festival each year.


The guest artist and clinician for this year’s festival was legendary bassist Rufis Reid.

Seneca’s 9:00 AM performance featured eleven student-musicians as they kicked-off their 2022 performance season.
