A ModWash car wash has been proposed for the long-closed Pizza Hut at 201 S. White Horse Pike in Magnolia.
On April 27, 2022 at 7:30 p.m., the Magnolia Joint Land Use Board will hear the application of ModWash, LLC, which proposes to demolish the former Pizza Hut building and construct a 4,872 SF Modwash express car wash on a portion of block 3.02, lot 15.
Because a car wash is not a permitted use in the C-Commercial zoning district, a use variance from the Board for the proposed use is sought.
The Applicant will return to the Board for site plan approval in the future if the use variance is granted.
This application will be heard in person in the Borough of Magnolia Municipal Building located at 438 W. Evesham Road.
A copy of the application and supporting documentation are on file in the Board’s offices in the Borough of Magnolia Municipal Building and are available for public inspection during regular business days and hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
According to their website, ModWash currently has 39 open locations throughout the country.
In South Jersey, the Cherry Hill, Milville, and Sicklerville locations are currently open and operating.
Several locations are listed as coming soon, including Clementon, Delran, Deptford, Magnolia, Turnersville, Westhampton, and a second location in Sicklerville
ModWash believes “in creating a positive ripple effect. This is what the ModDrop stands for. Each act of kindness, even the smallest positive action will ripple outward to affect others and our communities,” their website states.
