Camden Vicinage Recovery Court to Celebrate Graduation May 17

The vicinage’s recovery court program, which began in 1996, has 595 participants and has graduated 852 participants.


Assignment Judge Deborah Silverman Katz announced on May 12, 2022 that the Camden Vicinage will celebrate a virtual graduation of eight participants from its recovery court program on Tuesday, May 17 at 10 a.m. in recognition of National Drug Court Month.

Superior Court Judge Francisco Dominguez will preside.

Leroy Stanford, teaching administrator/director of the addiction counseling program at Camden County College, will be the keynote speaker. Graduation speakers include Camden County Assistant Prosecutor Greg Audino and Assistant Deputy Public Defenders Katina Chase and Lou Presenza.

The Judiciary’s recovery court program addresses nonviolent, addicted offenders.

The program requires the completion of four phases of intensive drug and alcohol treatment and recovery, under court supervision.


The graduates have completed the rigorous requirements of the program.
