25-Year-Old Atlantic City Man Sentenced to Prison Term in Connection With Shooting Death at Madison Hotel

The charges stem from a botched armed robbery.

On February 9, 2023, Keshawn Faulkner, 25, of Atlantic City was sentenced to 19 years in New Jersey State Prison for the August 12, 2020 shooting death of victim W.B. at the Madison Hotel in Atlantic City.

In December 2022, Faulkner plead guilty to first-degree Aggravated Manslaughter, first-degree Robbery, and second-degree Possession of a Firearm for an Unlawful Purpose.

Faulkner must serve 85% of the 19-year sentence before being eligible for parole under the No Early Release Act.

The case was a cooperative investigation between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department. Assistant Prosecutor Louis Casadia represented the State.
