Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Asks For Public’s Assistance With Helping to Identify Identifying Human Remains; Jewelry Found May Assist With Identification

Jewelry was found with the decedent that may assist in identifying the remains.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance with helping to identify a human whose remains were recovered in Galloway Township on June 7, 2021.

Jewelry was found with the decedent and may assist in identifying the remains.


The Following Information is Available:

  • Date Found: 6/7/2021
  • Sex: Male
  • Age at Time of Death: Approximately 40 to 60 years of age
  • Race: Unknown
  • Height: 5’5” to 5’11”
  • Jewelry: The decedent was found with a metallic ring and single stud earring, silver in color (see images)
  • Clothing: The decedent was found with multiple layers of clothing that includes a pair of Levi Jeans, Model 511 Skinny, Size 30 x 32, and a Children’s Place Red/Navy Striped Sweater Size L 10/12.
  • Miscellaneous: The decedent has evidence of a previous surgical repair to the right hand with a metallic plate.
