DEP’S NJ Forest Service to Provide Tree Seedlings at Various Municipalities

The Department of Environmental Protection’s Division of Parks and Forestry is making 90,000 free tree seedlings available to residents through the New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign, an ongoing effort of the New Jersey Forest Service, the nonprofit Arbor Day Foundation and other partners.

Congress Passes $5 Million for Delaware River Basin Restoration Program in FY2018 Omnibus Spending Bill

On March 23, the Delaware River Basin Restoration Program (DRBRP) received $5 million in funding as part of the Fiscal Year 2018 Omnibus spending bill approved by Congress. The bill will now go to the President’s desk for his signature. Passage of River Program allows PA, NY, DE, and NJ to access funding to restore and conserve the Delaware River.
