In advance of the June 6, 2017 primary, SJO submitted a list of questions to the three Democratic candidates who are running for two of the seats on Bellmawr Council. Those candidates are incumbents, Paul Sandrock and Jim D’Angelo along with newcomer, Paul DeAngelis.
The Bellmawr Planning Board approved the site plans for a Dollar Tree to be constructed at the site of the demolished Wonder Bread Outlet on the Black Horse Pike. Also, Compassionate Sciences will expand its operations.
The 2017 Bellmawr Borough Municipal Budget was presented at Mayor and Council’s April, 2017 meeting. Bellmawr taxpayers will see a zero percent tax increase for the local budget.
Bellmawr native, Buddy Robinson, made history when he scored the first short-handed playoff goal in San Jose Barracuda history. The goal also marked Robinson’s third short-handed goal of the season.
The Borough of Bellmawr has uploaded the auditor’s report for the year ending December 31, 2015. The audit also includes a Schedule of Findings and Recommendations that identify significant deficiencies and material weaknesses.
Bellmawr Council will meet on Thursday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the courtroom of Borough Hall. Resolutions have been uploaded in advance of the meeting.
