Bellmawr Girl Scouts Internet Safety & Cyberbulling Event a Success

Bellmawr Girl Scout Troop  #30215 hosted an Internet Safety and Cyberbullying event tonight at the Bellmawr Ballroom.

Guest speakers included members of the Bellmawr Police Department and Bell Oaks’ Technology Teacher/Peer Mediator, Nick Rizzo.


The Girl Scouts earned an award for hosting this community event.

Troop Leader Debbie Allen said: “I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to the Bellmawr Police Department and Nick Rizzo for coming to speak to our Girl Scouts and to our community. We also thank Jim Keller and the Bellmawr Fire Department for donating their space to our Girl Scouts so we could host this important event.  We are all so proud of the girls. Because they hosted this event, the girls have completed the final step in earning their Bronze Award.”
