South Jersey Magazine’s annual Top Towns list is out and there’s great news!
Bellmawr ranked again and has been named a Top Ten Camden County Town for 2022.

To determine how the rankings are determined:
[South Jersey Magazine’s] annual Top Towns spotlight is a celebration of these places we call home. Our rankings of South Jersey’s most desirable zip codes was formulated using data from the New Jersey State Police, the New Jersey Department of Education and the state’s Division of Local Government Services. Using a weighted formula, we combined average property values and taxes, crime incidents reported per 1,000 residents and high school performance numbers consisting of average SAT scores, graduation rates and more. The rankings are further broken down into two categories: big towns (population above 10,000) and small towns (population under 10,000).
For the second year in a row, Moorestown topped the rankings.

- Voorhees

Of making the list for 2022, Bellmawr Mayor Chuck Sauter said:
It’s an honor, once again, for Bellmawr to earn a coveted spot in South Jersey Magazine’s annual Top Towns list.
We are proud that many of our community events have become traditions for many families – such as our Easter Egg Hunt, Independence Day parade, Trunk or Treat, Christmas parade, and Christmas in the Park.
In 2017, we dedicated the Bellmawr War Memorial, which is open year round to visitors. Sections of the memorial were specifically designed to honor members of each branch of the military.
Our town’s athletic fields and playgrounds have been upgraded for safety and our dog park attracts many visitors.
Our police, fire, and EMS divisions are comprised of dedicated professionals who safeguard and serve our community each day.
We are excited to be named a Top Town Camden County Town.
