Bellmawr Traffic Advisory: Beginning April 21 Portion of Leaf Ave. Will Be One Way Only

Effective April 21, 2017, a portion of Leaf Avenue in Bellmawr will be one-way only.

The change will impact motorists exiting onto Leaf Avenue from southbound Route 42.  

Motorists will be directed to turn right turn onto Harding Avenue or left into the redevelopment site.

Bellmawr Police Chief William Walsh previously explained: “This will avoid traffic coming off Route 42 and crossing over Harding. Numerous trucks and vehicles are doing this now to avoid the traffic control at Creek and Harding and creating a dangerous situation at the intersection of Leaf and Harding.”

To alert motorists of the change, a signboard has been placed at the intersection of Leaf and Harding.
