Bellmawr’s AJ Gonzales is battling Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP), also known as “Stone Man Syndrome.”
According to IFOPA, FOP is one of the most rare and disabling genetic conditions known to medicine and causes bone to form in muscles, tendons, ligaments and other connective tissues.
Around here, though, we just know him as Bellmawr’s official superhero.
