Borgata Donates 225 Turkeys to Boys & Girls Club of AC

Students enrolled at the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City receive turkeys ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

On November 23, 2020, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, an MGM Resorts International destination, distributed 225 turkeys to the families of students enrolled in the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City (ACBGC) and the MGM Resorts International Teen Center in advance of the upcoming holiday.

Borgata chef Chris Dougherty taught several of the teens enrolled in the Center’s hospitality program how to prepare and roast their Thanksgiving turkey.

In July 2019, the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City unveiled the all-new MGM Resorts International Teen Center for Economic Youth Development & College Readiness thanks to a generous investment of $500,000 from MGM Resorts International, owner of Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.

The state-of-the-art 20,000-square-foot Center features a commercial teaching kitchen, health simulation lab, and 3-D maker lab for fabrication to provide youth with hospitality, health, and technology industry-related skills and career exploration.
