The long-closed Weber’s Drive-In in Brooklawn is “Under Agreement,” with the sale expected to be finalized in the very near future, SJO has learned.
In May, 2021, we reported that there was possibly an interest in turning it into a self-storage facility. However, we have since learned that is no longer the case.
The property last sold for $390,000 in November, 2016, tax records show.
This is a developing story and we will continue to follow it and provide updates and information as it becomes available.
Tile Buyers Outlet
Neighboring property, Tile Buyers Outlet, sold in August, 2021 for $700,000, according to property tax records.
We are also keeping an eye on that property to see what will go in there.
Site work is currently underway at the Brooklawn Shopping Center for CSL Plasma, where Eve’s Furniture Factory Outlet used to be.
We recently reached out to CSL Plasma to ask when they expect to open.
CSL’s Director of Communications, Rhonda Sciarra, wrote back via email: “We hope to open the center mid-2022.”

Site work is currently underway for Brooklawn’s new 6,000 square-foot restaurant at the Brooklawn Circle.
St. Maurice Property
We recently reported that the Brooklawn Board of Education (BOE) is requesting proposals for commercial real estate services for the St. Maurice property located at 401 Community Road.
There will be a public inspection available on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the property.
