Camden County Planning Board to Hear Application For Runnemede’s Ashbrook Landing Townhome Project

96 townhomes with six open-space lots are proposed at Hartford Drive & Evesham Road in Runnemede.

Tonight at 6:00 p.m., the Camden County Planning Board will meet virtually to hear and to consider the application for Runnemede’s Ashbrook Landing project for 96 townhome lots with six open-space lots. The subdivision entrance is located on Hartford Drive, approximately 400 feet from the intersection of Evesham Road.

The Camden County planning process concerns itself primarily with a review of factors that directly impact county facilities such as county-owned roads and stormwater management systems.

We’ve been following the developments on this project since early 2022.

The site is an 18.4-acre wooded lot. In addition to the 96-fee simple townhomes and associated site improvements, the applicant proposes six additional lots for off-street parking and stormwater facilities improvements for a total of 102 proposed lots.

The total gross square feet of all buildings and development is 86,782 square feet and the size of the existing lot is 801,839 square feet. The portion of the lots to be subdivided is 100 percent.
