The Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey (GSCSNJ) is pleased to announce the Girl Scouts in their region who put their entrepreneurial and leadership skills to great use and sold the most cookies this year – despite the ongoing pandemic.

This year’s Top 10 GSCSNJ Elite Cookie Entrepreneurs included top seller Bella Keyser of National Park who sold 4,217 packages of cookies.

“The GSCSNJ Council is proud of the accomplishments achieved by our Top 10 Elite Cookie Entrepreneurs and all of our Girl Scouts who participated in this year’s cookie program,” said Ginny Hill, GSCSNJ CEO. “Our cookie program has proven to make a difference in the lives of girls by teaching them essential skills such as goal setting, financial literacy, money management, and innovation which are important ingredients for success. Congratulations to our girls on a job well done!”

To recognize the top cookie sellers each year the Juliette’s Pearls Club was created last year to honor Elite Entrepreneurs.

The club is named after Juliette Gordon Low, founder of Girl Scouts, who sold a beloved string of pearls to fund the operating expenses of the first Girl Scout Council.

The top sellers received a necklace with a single pearl for their membership in the club.

For each year that they are among the Elite Entrepreneurs, they will receive an additional pearl to recognize their accomplishments.

The Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey kicked off the 2022 Girl Scout cookie season in January.

The Girl Scouts reached out to family and friends, set up booths at local businesses, and partnered with DoorDash for contactless, same-day delivery to sell the famous cookies so many have come to know and love.

While the season is about Thin Mints, Shortbreads, and the other Girl Scout cookies, including the new Adventurefuls that debuted this year, the Girl Scout Cookie Program is about much more — it is the largest female-led entrepreneurship and financial literacy program in the country.

The benefits of the program not only help local troops and councils, but proceeds help develop innovative programs that build girls of confidence, courage, and character – the mission of Girl Scouts.
