Electric Car Charging Station Planned for Somerdale

SAI Group has applied to the Somerdale Planning and Zoning Board for amended preliminary and final major site plan approval for the installation of eight electric car charging stations, together with a utility transformer and an approximately 17-foot by 47-foot-8-inch fenced equipment area, on property located at 1 Coopertowne Boulevard, according to a recently published Legal Notice.

The applicant is seeking “all additional exceptions, waivers, design waivers, variances, interpretations, de minimis exceptions, modifications of conditions of prior approvals, continuation of any preexisting nonconforming conditions, and other approvals reflected on the filed plans,” the Legal Notice reads.

A public hearing on the application has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at the Somerdale Borough Hall, 105 Kennedy Boulevard.
