Estimated Time Frame For Warren Avenue Water Tank Replacement Project

Construction of the new water tank on Warren Avenue tank has begun. Last week, the contractor began to auger a test pile.

As for a timeline for the project, Bellmawr Borough Administrator Josh Tregear explained that the new water tank will be built adjacent to the old one. The new tank should be completed by year’s end, barring any unforeseen issues, such as weather.

“Once the new tank is fully constructed and operational, the old tank will then be removed. That process is expected to last a few months. So, if all timelines hold, the new tank will be operational and the old one will be removed by April, 2018,” Tregear stated.

As for the design of the new water tank, it will resemble Brooklawn’s water tank, except that Bellmawr’s will be painted blue.
