The vacant property has been listed at $689,000.
It is located across the road from Soupy Island and includes an existing, but delipidated and graffitied, pier that juts out over 300 feet and has riparian rights.
The listing states that West Deptford Township has zoned the property as General Commercial, “which in itself has many possible uses and with approvals, it may make for an ideal waterfront townhouse/condo community.”

“Some environmental studies have been completed,” the listing reads, “including the Phase 1 & 2 Environmental Site Assessment. The sellers may be willing to finance subject to terms and conditions.”
On his blog, Lucas Murray wrote about an April 19, 2010 fire that gutted an old, single-story house on the property that had been abandoned for years.
The property is listed with Ed Hughes of Berkshire Hathaway Fox & Roach Commercial Division. 856-478-9600.
According to the listing, the property last sold for $300,000 in 2004.
