Gloucester City Water Street Property Sold For $2.4M – “Largest Available Land Pier on Delaware River”

Other notable commercial transactions include a property in Bellmawr that was once a credit union and another in Runnemede that was once used as a sales office and showroom for sunrooms.

On October 18, 2022, 707 Water Street in Gloucester City sold for $2,400,000 to Royal White Real Estate of Houston, Texas, property records show.

In 2017, the property was advertised on Loopnet as the “largest available land pier on the Delaware River.”

The lot size is 20.10 acres and is further described the property as:

A 10.5-acre riverfront development site with additional 9.6 acre riparian grant. 200′ wide land-pier extending out to the Delaware River. 1,500′ road frontage on Water Street. Potential shipping access for port facilities and/or other related water-oriented industrial uses. Rail service available.

At this time, we cannot confirm what the planned use for the property will be, but we will continue to research it and will update this story with information as it becomes available

Two other notable recent commercial real estate transactions include a property on East Browning Road in Bellmawr that was most recently used as a credit union, and also a property on the Black Horse Pike in Runnemede that once housed a sales office and showroom for greenhouses and sunrooms.

Aly Logistics, LLC of Bellmawr is listed as the buyer for both of those properties. The business is located at 100 S. Black Horse Pike (formerly Cundiff Oil).

On November 7, 2022, the Bellmawr property at 203 E. Browning Road sold for $260,000. The property was originally listed at $300,000 and on November 2, 2022, 3 E. 10th Avenue (formerly Seta Sunrooms) sold for $275,000.

203 E. Browning Road in Bellmawr was most recently American Heritage Credit Union. They have since relocated to 1320 N. Black Horse Pike in Glendora. Throughout the years, other businesses that have occupied the space include a bookstore, a deli, and an ice cream shop. (Image courtesy: Loop.net)
