GTPD Crime Stoppers Seek Public’s Assistance With Identifying Alleged Cigarette Theft Suspect

The Gloucester Township Police Crime Stoppers seek the public’s assistance with identifying a subject who is wanted for alleged cigarette theft.

On the evening hours of Friday, December 16, 2022 it is alleged that this individual traveled to several area Wawa stores, including two in Gloucester Township,.

The individual proceeds to enter Wawa carrying a shopping bag and then allegedly sneaks behind the checkout counter while the employees are helping other customers, fills the bag with cigarettes, and quickly exits the store without paying.

Police describe the individual as a black male wearing an orange reflective vest, a bright yellow wool hat, and operating a dark-colored early 2000’s Buick with a Pennsylvania rear tag.
