Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties (JFS) is pleased to announce that we will host monthly wellness workshops for Holocaust Survivors and their family caregivers beginning this month.

Led by Dr. Valerie Braunstein, Psy.D., attendees will enjoy lunch, music, and a different activity with wellness professionals each month including painting, poetry, mindfulness, nutrition, yoga, and more. In addition, local Survivors will share stories about their lives and families as well as enjoy spending time with each other.

“At JFS, we are committed to immeasurably adding to the quality of life of Holocaust Survivors in the community. As an agency, we embrace survivors as it is our privilege and duty to ensure they receive essential support and programs,” said Andrea Steinberg, JFS Chief Executive Officer.

The workshops are made possible through a generous grant from the Jewish Federations of North America.

In Atlantic County there are approximately 25 Holocaust Survivors and JFS provides a variety of services including Care Coordination, Socialization, Transportation, and more.
