Man Shot During Attempted Robbery at Lindenwold Gas Station

A 50- year-old Marlton resident was shot during an attempted robbery at the Gastrol Gas Station, located at 500 East Gibbsboro Road.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Lindenwold Police Department are investigating the shooting of a man on Monday evening, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Lindenwold Police Chief Michael McCarthy, Jr.

On Monday, February 6, 2023, at approximately 10:00 p.m., the CCPO Major Crimes Unit and the Lindenwold Police Department responded to the shooting of a man that took place in Lindenwold.

Lindenwold Police located a 50- year-old Marlton resident who was shot during an attempted robbery at the Gastrol Gas Station, located at 500 East Gibbsboro Road in Lindenwold.

The victim was transported to Cooper University Hospital, and he is currently in critical condition.
