Mayor Kenney to S.J. Mayors: “We Are Working to Increase Patrols & Limit Noise”

In a letter addressed to the mayors of Bellmawr, Brooklawn, Gloucester City, and Westville regarding the excessive noise from”Boom Cars,” Philadelphia James Mayor responded on September 2, 2020.

SJO was forwarded a copy of the letter from Mayor Kenney’s office.

Thanking the mayors for bringing the matter of “excessive noise from motor vehicles” to his attention, Mayor Kenney stated that he has reached out to the Police Department and “we are working to increase patrols and limit the noise coming from those areas listed in [the] letter.”

Mayor Kenney thanked the the mayors for their “continued partnership and patience as we deal with this issue.”
