After 28 years as Mayor of Mount Ephraim, Commissioner Joe Wolk will be stepping down, while remaining on the three person commission. All roles will continue, moving forward with Mayor Tovinsky overseeing the Department of Public Works, Commissioner Wolk as the director of finance, and Commissioner Gies as the director of public safety.

“After almost three decades of service to Mount Ephraim, I felt it was time to pass the torch on to someone else on the team. I am very excited about the accomplishments we have had, and direction the town is heading. The team of Commissioners that we have right now have deep roots to this town, and we will continue to work together during these trying times. I am excited to continue my work on the Commission,” said Wolk.

“I have lived in this town for over 55 years, and raised both sons here. I am proud to call Mount Ephraim home, and serving my neighbors the last five years has been a privilege. I appreciate Mayor Wolk for his service to the community, and his willingness work collaboratively during this transition. This team of Commissioners is dedicated to serving Mount Ephraim, and I am proud to lead them,” said Tovinsky.

“Mayor Tovinsky and I have worked together for years with the Mount Ephraim Little League. I am eager to see what he will do as Mayor of Mount Ephraim, and I am excited to continue our work together,” said Gies.
