An application for the construction of an off-road rider training and education facility along with associated site improvements for all terrain vehicles/motorcycle safety training is scheduled to be heard virtually by the Monroe Township Planning Board at a Special Meeting on July 23, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
The property for which approval is being sought is in RD-C (Rural Development Commercial District) zone and is located at 3208 South
Black Horse Pike and is also known as Block 5601 Lot 22 on the tax map.

The application of Richard Schmidt seeks preliminary and final major site plan approval along with variances and waivers.
The facility proposes two training ranges, dirt training trails, a 3,600 square foot operations building, a separate 860 square foot sales office building and a 400 square foot open pavilion.
The applicant proposes to be open for business three-four days per week from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. during the months of March through December.

Also on the Planning Board’s agenda for July 23, 2020 is the application of Doc & Smith Funeral Home, LLC, for a site plan waiver approval to operate a funeral home and an event venue.
The property for which approval is being sought is in a C (Commercial District) zone and is located at 800 N. Black Horse Pike and is also known as Block 1603 Lot 47 on the tax map.
