New Jersey Commission on the Status of Women (NJACSW) to Host Virtual Business Meeting on Feb. 22 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

The New Jersey Advisory Commission on the Status of Women (NJACSW) was created in 1974 to act as an advisor and advocate for New Jersey women of all races and creeds.

The New Jersey Commission on the Status of Women (NJACSW) will be hosting a virtual business meeting on February 22 from 1:00-3:00 pm ET.

The date, time, and location of the meeting are subject to change and additional meetings may be scheduled.


All meetings will be held virtually until further notice.

The NJACSW:

  • Examines concerns and advocates for the needs of New Jersey women.
  • Advises elected officials and the New Jersey Division on Women regarding issues affecting women.
  • Acts as a resource for municipal, county, and local commissions and for women’s organizations throughout the state.
  • Empowers women through partnership, programming, and publicity.
  • New Jersey’s County/Municipal Commissions for Women
  • New Jersey presently has a network of 18 county commissions and four local commissions for women.

The New Jersey Advisory Commission on the Status of Women (NJACSW) was created in 1974 to act as an advisor and advocate for New Jersey women of all races and creeds.

Working with the New Jersey Division on Women, we are committed to addressing the critical concerns and issues confronting New Jersey women.

The NJACSW is a diverse group of dynamic, talented women and is composed of eleven members appointed by the Governor.

Each Commission member is committed to raising questions, seeing solutions, supporting initiatives, and providing voluntary service to enhance the lives of women.
