NJM Insurance Group Receives Third Consecutive J.D. Power Certification for Providing an “Outstanding Claims Experience” for Personal Lines Customers

NJM remains the only insurer in the country to hold this certification.

October 15, 2020 – West Trenton, NJ – NJM Insurance Group, a leading property and casualty insurer in the Mid-Atlantic region, has for the third year received the Auto Claims Certification for providing an outstanding personal auto claims experience from J.D. Power, a global leader in consumer insights and advisory services.

NJM is the first and only insurance company in the nation to hold this designation.


It reflects NJM’s commitment to providing an insurance claims experience that meets or exceeds the high expectations of consumers.

Eligibility for J.D. Power’s Claims Certification Program℠ involved a rigorous independent audit of NJM’s claims process, including a survey of recent claimants and an evaluation of claims performance across all key areas of the claims process.  It also included a rigorous independent audit and claims evaluation, resulting in NJM satisfying 88 out of 89 evaluation metrics – a 99% success rate, which is well above the minimum requirement of 80%.
