ProPublica Has Created a Trackable Database to Search Every Company Approved for PPP Federal Loans; Data Also Includes Loans Marked as Forgiven

We searched for companies and non-profits in Bellmawr, Brooklawn, Gloucester City, Mt. Ephraim, Runnemede, and Westville.

As part of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), the federal government has provided hundreds of billions in financial support to banks to make low-interest loans to companies and nonprofit organizations in response to the economic devastation caused by the coronavirus pandemic. (Source: ProPublica)

ProPublica has created a searchable database where you can search more than 11 million loans approved by lenders and disclosed by the Small Business Administration.

We searched the database using the zip codes for Bellmawr, Brooklawn, Gloucester City, Mt. Ephraim, Runnemede, and Westville and uploaded screenshots for a few PPP recipients from each town.

The database will yield information such as recipient, location, loan status (i.e. forgiven or not disclosed), loan amount, and date approved.

If you click on the recipient’s name (in blue), it will click out for additional information — such as where the applicant’s money will go – payroll, utilities, mortgage interest, health care, rent, refinance, or debt interest.

For example in Bellmawr, Spruce Manor Enterprises received $53,980. The applicant stated that the money would be used for payroll for a reported five jobs.
