Royal Farms Second S.J. Location Opens in Bellmawr Jan. 22

Royal Farms’ second South Jersey location opens in Bellmawr at midnight on Jan. 22. The store is located at the corner of the Black Horse Pike and Browning Rd. and used to be the site of a closed Walgreens.

Royal Farms’ second South Jersey location opens in Bellmawr at midnight on January 22. The store will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and is the former location of a long closed Walgreens located at the corner of the Black Horse Pike and Browning Road.

In July, 2016, SJO was the first to report that Royal Farms was coming to Bellmawr.

I had the opportunity to visit the store on January 19 and spoke with store leader, George Stafford, as he and his team were busy working on final details in advance of the store’s opening.

Stafford said they are “thrilled” to be in Bellmawr. “I currently have 62 people on staff and they are chomping at the bit to get open and be part of the community and help out. We are excited to be in Bellmawr and to bring the town a different option rather than the ‘same old same old.'”

Royal Farms opened in Magnolia in late 2017 and is known for its “World Famous Fried Chicken.”

Work continues at the Route 130 Gloucester City location. SJO will provide a definite opening date for that store once confirmation is received.
