County Commissioner Deputy Director Mickey Ostrum said: “Putting the rail line back in service has been a years-long and difficult journey. Thank you to all previous Commissioners (Freeholders) whose support and hard work have made this a reality. Opportunities are open for businesses and jobs, utilizing existing structures, and tourism growth with rail bikes already in operation and recreation trains planned for the near future. Thank you to SMS Lines for putting the final pieces together.”
