Scotland Run Park Offers Scout Sunday for Scouts of America, Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts

Scouts can book a Sunday trip for their troop to adventure, learn and interact with the nature Scotland Run has to offer. Bookings are free of charge, but do need to be booked in advance.

(Clayton, NJ)—Local Scouts of America, Boy Scouts and Girl Scout Troops can visit Scotland Run Park to fulfill requirements towards their nature badges.

“We support our local Scouts of America, Boy Scouts and Girl Scout Troops and welcome them to learn about our environment at our County parks,” said Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger. “These groups teach children leadership, confidence and professional development and we are proud to support their efforts.”


Scouts can book a Sunday trip for their troop to adventure, learn and interact with the nature Scotland Run has to offer. Bookings are free of charge, but do need to be booked in advance.

“Our parks have so much to explore. There’s so much to learn in nature and each visit to the park you can discover something new,” said Freeholder Jim Lavender, liaison to the Parks and Recreation Department.
