Site Work Has Begun For New Brooklawn Circle Waterfront Bar/Restaurant

Years ago, the property was home to the bar/nightclub Private Eyes and before that, it was Bogey’s.

Site work is underway for the new Brooklawn Circle waterfront bar/restaurant.

We reached out via email to Brooklawn Borough Administrator Ryan Giles today to ask if the work is being done for the new restaurant and he said that it was. They are beginning to set the foundation, Giles wrote.

On May 12, 2021, the Brooklawn Planning/Zoning Board approved the application of Donald and Svitlana Bogey for the construction of a new 6,000 square-foot restaurant at the Brooklawn Circle.

Years ago, the property was home to the bar/nightclub Private Eyes and before that, it was Bogey’s.

Mark Matthews of 42Freeway attended the Planning/Zoning Board meeting via Zoom and in his post, he outlined many details for the new establishment. He also included the site plans.

Matthews wrote: “The new Brooklawn waterfront restaurant will be a single floor building, raised up higher so that it is above the risk of floods from the Big Timber Creek… and will be positioned to the back of the property closer to the water!”

“The site plan indicates a wrap-around deck on the back and side, which should provide awesome views to the waterway. The Big Timber Creek gets some boat traffic from a handful of marinas along the short portion of navigable waterway, but the big draw for the docks will be the boats docked along the Delaware River!”
