Stratford Mayor: Tim Hortons is Coming

Tim Hortons, one of North America’s largest restaurant chains operating in the quick service segment, is looking at Stratford to open a new South Jersey location.

Tim Hortons, one of North America’s largest restaurant chains operating in the quick service segment, is looking at Stratford to open a new location, Mayor Josh Keenan has announced.

The vacant lot adjacent to TD Bank on White Horse Pike and New Road will be the new location of Tim Hortons. They are known for their coffee and donuts, but have a full menu of great food, and plan to be open 24/7. They are working fast in getting their plans to the Stratford Joint Land Use Board so they can break ground this year,” Mayor Keenan wrote in an undated post on the Borough’s website.

This will be Tim Hortons first South Jersey location. Other New Jersey locations are in Newark, Raritan, and Stockholm.

Tim Hortons is part of the Restaurant Brands International (RBI) family that includes Tim Hortons, Popeyes, and Burger King.

According to TBI’s website: “Tim Hortons is one of North America’s largest restaurant chains operating in the quick service segment.”

Founded as a single location in Canada in 1964, Tim Hortons appeals to a broad range of guest tastes, with a menu that includes premium coffee, hot and cold specialty drinks (including lattes, cappuccinos and espresso shots), specialty teas and fruit smoothies, fresh baked goods, grilled Panini and classic sandwiches, wraps, soups, prepared foods and other food products.

Tim Hortons has more than 4,800 system wide restaurants located in Canada, the United States and around the world.

SJO reached out to TBI to ask for additional information and will provide updates as they become available.

The Stratford Land Use Board will hear the application of tratford Empire, LLC for approval to construct an approximately 3,525 square foot Tim Hortons fast-food restaurant with dual drive-thru lanes at 57 White Horse Pike.

Oh what a wonderful idea! Let’s build more shit! Meanwhile, the remains of Incollingo’s continues to rot away along with the value of nearby homes. I’m sure more fast food will bring property values right up.

Nice, put your unsupported opinion on this site and then lack the courage to even use your name.

JD and PAT you really excited for Tim Horton’s are you? Typical American, in love with their fast food and crumbling society.

Having spent many years traveling to the Toronto area on business I have been to Tim Hortons many times. Let me say this….Dunkin Donuts should be very nervous as their donuts are superior to DD and their coffee is excellent.Looking forward to their opening.

Tim Hortons won’t stick around once it gets robbed. Stratford is turning into a ghetto. All those townhomes at Incollingos is going to make Stratford just like Lindenwold. Stratford residents need to get out while they can.

What are you trying to say about Lindenwold?

There isn’t a town in Jersey that hasn’t gone down hill. From Stratford to Voorhees, from Camden to Cherry Hill. Get use to it. Your home’s won’t be worth anything you think they will.

I hope Stratford does not go down hill. I feel like we are turning into Lindenwold. Lets promote businesses and not all these apartments. Council needs to look to the future and not live in the past. This starts with removing Frank Hartman from office.
