Suspect Wanted By GTPD For Burglary, Motor Vehicle Theft, & Criminal Mischief

The Gloucester Township Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with locating an individual who was captured on camera allegedly attempting to steal vehicles.

The suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Joseph D. Schiavo formerly from the Sicklerville Section of Gloucester Township.

On August 11, 2022, Mr. Schiavo was captured on security cameras entering the locked Frank’s Auto Addictions lot on the Black Horse Pike and allegedly attempted to steal several vehicles, specifically by entering unlocked cars and attempting to “hot-wire” ignition.

Schiavo has been charged with three counts of burglary, two counts of criminal attempt motor vehicle theft, and two counts of criminal mischief.
