The construction of the 12 Bellmawr Park Housing units is now underway due to I-295/I-76/Route 42 Interchange project. 6 units are being constructed in the dead-end area of Peach Road. 6 more are being constructed on Essex Avenue.
Preliminary site work at the Dead End area of Peach Road is underway in advance of the replacement and relocation of 12 Bellmawr Park Mutual Housing Units.
SJO has uploaded the Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan for the relocation and replacement of 12 Bellmawr Park Mutual Housing units. Because of the acquisition of 1.29 acres of property for NJDOT’s Direct Connection project, suitable land was to be found within Bellmawr Park for the new units.

The Bellmawr Zoning Board approved a Resolution at its October 18 meeting granting preliminary and final major site plan approval for the replacement and relocation of 12 Bellmawr Park Mutual Housing units. The 12 impacted units are located on Hickory Place, Willow Place, and Victory Drive.
