Updated: Bellmawr Police Request Public’s Assistance With Identifying Vehicle Involved in Hit & Run Near E.M. Burke School

An Egg Harbor City man has turned himself in to authorities.

Update: An Egg Harbor City man turned himself in to police. Paul Criscione, 66, of Egg Harbor City, has been charged with assault by auto, aggravated assault, leaving the scene of an accident involving bodily injury, along with several motor vehicle summons.

Bellmawr Police are investigating a hit and run that occurred on October 3, 2022 where a nine-year-old child was struck in the area of E.M. Burke School just prior to the start of school.


The vehicle pictured immediately fled the scene and the child was taken to an area hospital where she was seen and released with minor injuries. 

Anyone able to identify this vehicle with a broken rear window and damaged front bumper is asked to contact Bellmawr Police at 856-931-2120.
