Used Car Lot Proposed for Runnemede’s Closed TD Bank

An application has been filed for a use variance to permit used car sales at the closed TD Bank property in Runnemede.

The Runnemede Joint Land Use Board will hear an application of Runnemede Associates, LLC on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at the Runnemede Borough Hall for a use variance of the Borough’s land development ordinance to permit used automobile sales on the property known as 129 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede.


The location is the site of the closed TD Bank, which shut down earlier this year.

Preliminary and final site plan approval is also sought to convert the existing bank building located at the property and to construct associated site improvements for used automobile sales.

Bulk variances and design exceptions are also requested.

The Applicant additionally seeks amended preliminary and final minor site plan approval to construct minor site improvements and to permit the parking of used vehicle inventory at 99 S. Black Horse Pike, which is the location of Runnemede Toyota.

The plans and exhibits for the application are available for inspection during regular business hours at the Runnemede Borough Hall, 24 North Black Horse Pike.
