Visiting Angels of Atlantic County made a two-year pledge to Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties (JFS).

As a Builder Donor to the agency, the funds will assure that older adults in the community continue to enjoy programs and have access to services for their individual needs.

“At JFS, we are delighted to welcome Visiting Angels as an agency donor. Their generous funding will support an array of programs and services for older adults in the area,” said Andrea Steinberg, JFS Chief Executive Officer. “Their healthcare business is committed to assisting adults by providing comprehensive home care and we are proud to partner to help our local Village members.”

Visiting Angels has been supporting and participating in JFS programs including The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore, Card Party, and Turkey Drive for more than 13 years.

The company sponsors fundraising events, participates in programs to share their knowledge on home care options, and contributes to the Food Pantry to assist residents in need.

For the past 17 years, Visiting Angels owners and sisters, Patty Laychock, RRT, and Kathy Callahan, RN, BSN, have worked diligently to provide quality and safe home care services to older adults and those with disabilities in the Atlantic County area.

Each client is provided with a customized plan of care created by one of their registered nurses, based on the client’s individual needs.

The dedicated Visiting Angels caregivers help to safely tend to adults in the comfort of their own homes.

Recently, Visiting Angels received the distinguished 2022 Best of Home Care – Top 100 Leader in Experience Award from Home Care Pulse, the leading firm in experience management for home care.

This honor is the highest recognition awarded by Home Care Pulse and is only awarded to 100 home care businesses in North America.

In addition, Visiting Angels was recognized with the 2022 Best of Home Care Employer of Choice and Provider of Choice awards.

“We are very proud of all our staff from the office to the field. The work they do every day is something to be incredibly proud of. The kindness, compassion and dedication our staff provides to our community is commendable, to say the least,” said Visiting Angels Owners Patty Laychock and Kathy Callahan.
