Voorhees Auctioning Off One New Plenary Retail Consumption Liquor License – Minimum Bid $800K; Pre-Qualification Applications Accepted & Taken Thru Sept. 22

Voorhees Township has posted a Public Notice of Auction Sale for one Plenary Retail Consumption Liquor License with a minimum bid of $800,000.

Pre-Qualification applications are being accepted by the Township Clerk of the Township of Voorhees for consideration by the Township Committee in granting one New Plenary Retail Consumption Liquor License within the Township.

All Pre-Qualification applications will be accepted and taken by the Township Clerk through 4:00 p.m., September 22, 2022, at the Township Clerk’s Office, Voorhees Township Municipal Building, 2400 Town Center Blvd, Voorhees.

All prospective bidders shall qualify no later than October 13, 2022.

All Pre-Qualified Applicants as announced by the Township Clerk of the Township of Voorhees, shall be eligible to participate in a Public Auction Sale for the Plenary Retail Consumption Liquor during a Public Sale which shall commence on October 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the Voorhees Township Municipal Building.

The formal award of the Plenary Retail Consumption Liquor License, to the highest qualified bidders will take place at the regular meeting of the Voorhees Township Committee following the public sale.

The Township Committee reserves the right to reject any and all bids where the highest bid is not acceptable.

The terms and conditions of the bid for the one New Plenary Retail Consumption Liquor License within the Township of Voorhees were set forth in Resolution #232-22, which was adopted by the Township Committee of the Township of Voorhees at a meeting held on August 8, 2022.
