On October 13, 2022 New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials announced the two right lanes on I-295 northbound will be closed Friday night, October 14 through Saturday night, October 15 for paving in Bellmawr as the Direct Connect project advances.

My question is, if the wall failed because of cheaper sand (dirt) & poor drainage. What about other areas where this dirt was use? I’m an engineer or contractor! Just a curious resident. Thank you
