Willingboro Community Development Corp. To Host Entrepreneur & Career Symposium on April 27

The event features Keynote Speaker Jane Oates, President of Working Nation and former Assistant Secretary of State under the Obama Administration.

The Willingboro Community Development Corp. is hosting the Entrepreneur and Career Symposium to be held on Thursday, April 27 at the John F. Kennedy Center, Willingboro, featuring Keynote Speaker Jane Oates, President of Working Nation and former Assistant Secretary of State under the Obama Administration.

The year’s symposium will feature keynote speaker Jane Oates, President of Working Nation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing the workforce for the future.


The Entrepreneur and Career Symposium is an event that brings together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and professionals from various industries to discuss entrepreneurship, current trends, challenges, and opportunities in the workforce.

This year’s theme will focus on starting a business and hot career industries now and in the future.

Jane Oates, as the President of Working Nation, is a recognized expert on workforce development and education policy. With over 30 years of experience in public service and education, Oates is a sought-after speaker on CNN and C-SPAN and advisor on issues related to the future of work.

“I am delighted to be the keynote speaker at the Entrepreneur and Career Symposium,” said Oates. “As the nature of work continues to evolve, it is critical that we come together to discuss how we can prepare ourselves and our workforce for the future. I look forward to sharing my insights and learning from the other speakers and attendees.”

The Entrepreneur and Career Symposium is open to anyone interested in becoming an entrepreneur or learning about the hottest career trends. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with other professionals and entrepreneurs, engage in interactive workshops, and gain insights from industry and business leaders.

In addition to Oates, the Entrepreneur and Career Symposium will feature a lineup of distinguished speakers, panelists such as Senator Troy Singleton, Assemblyman Herb Conaway, Commissioner Director Felicia Hopson, Willingboro’s very own Mayor McIntosh and Symposium sponsor Schneider Electric. The program will include discussions on What is your “Why” for starting a Business and What is Your Calling in seeking a career.
