24-Year Old Soccer Coach from Oaklyn Charged With Manufacturing Child Porn & Endangering the Welfare of a Child

Christopher Ferrari, 24, of Oaklyn, has been criminally charged by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office with Manufacturing Child Pornography and multiple counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child after an investigation by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office.

Ferrari surrendered himself at the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 and was detained at the Salem County Correctional Facility pending a first appearance in Gloucester County Superior Court, Woodbury, New Jersey on October 9, 2019.

According to the charges, Ferrari sent and requested explicit images via social media to underage boys who he met through the South Jersey Elite Baron’s Soccer Youth Program where he was employed as a coach.

The South Jersey Elite Baron’s Soccer Youth Program has been very cooperative in assisting with the investigation.

Despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of their rights as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State Law.
