Brooklawn Diner to be Rebranded as The Empire Diner

A name change/rebranding is underway as the Brooklawn Diner will be officially known as “The Empire Diner.”

While stopping in for breakfast recently, we couldn’t help but notice our place mat had a new graphic that depicts the building and signage with a new name — “The Empire Diner.”

Our friendly waitress said she was excited about the change and called it “a good thing.” Pointing to the Brooklawn Diner logo on her polo shirt, she said she was “really looking forward” to getting something new that has “The Empire Diner” logo on it.

SJO recently reported that the owners of the nearby Piston Diner had acquired the Brooklawn Diner as their second location.
