Construction of Brooklawn Wawa Progressing; Projected Fall Opening

The new super Wawa in Brooklawn, at the site of the closed Ponzio’s/Metro Diner, is slated to open in the Fall.

Construction of the new Super Wawa in Brooklawn is well underway. The site is located at Route 130 and Browning Road. It was the former home of Ponzio’s/the Metro Diner.

The Metro Diner closed its doors on June 4, 2018. Demolition began in September, 2018.

The new store (#8424) is expected to open in the Fall, 2019, according to Wawa’s website.
