Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a man on Saturday night in Camden City, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.
On September 16, 2023, at approximately 9:46 p.m., Camden County Police Department Officers received a ShotSpotter activation at the 400 block of North 7th Street. Officers arrived on scene and located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was later identified as 32-year-old Antwan Burdett of Camden City. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 10:15 p.m.
